Shipping Faqs
-
We recommend FedEx and UPS because they provide reliable, trackable shipping options and can handle larger, heavier packages safely. Their services ensure your parts arrive securely and in good condition.
-
While USPS is an option, they do not accept packages over 70 pounds. For larger or heavier parts, FedEx and UPS are the best choices as they can accommodate heavier shipments and offer more flexible options for handling automotive components.
-
Be sure to package the parts well, with cushioning on all sides with crumpled kraft paper, cellulose wadding, peanuts, bubble wrap, shredded paper, etc. If you shake the box and can hear things moving and bumping around, then there isn't enough cushioning. Pack it tight.
-
For heavy or fragile parts, use additional padding and consider reinforcing the box with extra tape. You can also mark the box as “Fragile” to ensure careful handling by the carrier. For particularly delicate or high-value items, you may want to consult with the carrier about special handling services.
-
We recommend insuring your package, especially for high-value parts. FedEx and UPS both offer insurance options to cover the value of your items, giving you extra peace of mind during transit.
